Intro/Biography
I was born in 1995 (Oct. 6th) and raised in Mexico City, where I developed interests in dancing, painting, sculpting and singing. Supported by my parents, I decided to take singing lessons, starting at the school choir, then a musical theater school in 2011 and later at a rock school from 2013 to 2014. My instructors were integral parts of the Mexican rock scene, serving as immense sources of inspiration.
Moving to Berlin
After high school, I opted to pursue Audio Engineering with a specialization in singing. I enrolled in university in 2014 but chose to withdraw the following year to continue private singing lessons. I sought further opportunities abroad and spent some time in Barcelona, hosted by my brother. During my stay in Europe, I ventured to Berlin for the first time and stumbled upon a branch of the BIMM (British and Irish Modern Music) Institute, now a university. The subsequent year, I applied and was accepted into the BA (Hons) in Creative Musicianship (Class ‘19).
Gigs, gigs, gigs…
I relocated to Berlin in late October 2016, arriving in a bitterly cold city. My initial year was challenging, adapting to the environment and lifestyle. By 2017, I began connecting with like-minded individuals, leading to my involvement in my first rock band Parallel Lines (2018 - 2019), alongside Gunnar Lines and Victor Wissink. Through them, I delved deeper into the scene, eventually joining Caustic Minds (2017 - 2023).
With this band, I had the opportunity to co-write songs and lyrics alongside Michiel Sybers, Dani Viceras, and Chris Crabtree. We performed numerous concerts in Berlin and showcased in Hamburg, fostering my confidence within the industry and enabling me to contribute as a vocalist to bands like Noise In Grey (2018 - present) for a year.
After completing my degree, I was immersed in opportunities with Caustic Minds until the pandemic halted everything in March 2020. During this period, Michiel S. and I formed our duo: Skin On Flesh. Within this band, we managed to feature in short film soundtracks like "Road Back" (2021) and "The Gallery" (2022). Our single You'll See Me was selected for the Listen To Berlin 2021 Compilation Album, providing a platform at the Most Wanted: Music 2021 event.
Concurrently, I pursued opportunities in film, attending a diploma course at SAE Berlin (Sept 2021). I participated in student film shoots as an audio person and makeup artist, reigniting my passion for storytelling. However, I discontinued in mid-2022 due to mental health reasons, refocusing on my music.

In September 2022, Skin On Flesh traveled to Mexico to record our debut EP: "Terrible and Sad," including the single "El Tiempo." The latter won a competition early in 2023, securing a place in the renowned video game Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, released in September of the same year.
Additionally, I commenced my Master's in Popular Music Studies at BIMM University in Berlin in October 2022, expected to conclude in 2025. Within the program, I am developing a music project in collaboration with artificial intelligence for my thesis.
Currently, I am invested in two projects. Firstly, Skin On Flesh takes precedence. Secondly, I serve as a backing vocalist for Gunnar Lines Band, facilitating our entry into the street musician scene, performing in various bars and events in and around Berlin. These two projects sustain me and drive me to seek new opportunities.
Beyond these ventures, I am intrigued by seeking avenues for improvement, exploring alternative perspectives, and finding inspiration that can bear fruit not just for myself but also for my creative community.
